Yellow Roses
Yellow roses signify joy and friendship. Have a best friend who is feeling lonely on Valentine’s Day? Give her a bundle of sunshine to show her you care. Yellow roses are also a sweet idea for family members as well.
Don’t give yellow roses to a lover. Unless it’s her favorite color, what is really being said is that the relationship needs to cool down a step or that the giver just wants to be friends. Give her or him a bouquet of passionate coral or orange if an alternative to traditional red is being sought.
Yellow roses can also mean jealousy. So if a lover has been caught getting too close to a co-worker a warning bouquet can tell her she needs to cool it. Mainly though yellow roses are meant to send a cheery message to a friend or family. Consider giving yellow roses as congratulation to a friend who received a promotion or to a friend who is moving away.
